At home I’m lively, loud, and outgoing. Bursting at the seams with life, I’m known for my vivid imagination, ample creativity, and never shutting up. Though at school, I am insecure, quiet, and very detached from my chatty peers. Kids have often sighted me for it, and I won the superlative, "quietest." It is out of character for me to be quiet, I’m not sure quite what happens that makes me feel like an underdog. What can I do to gain the confidence, that all my peers seem to have?
I am a tad mature for my age, and kids often have trouble comprehending some of my thoughts, and I usually come across badly because of this. My intelligence makes me feel out of place.
I have little to no, self-confidence, and I am constantly comparing myself with all the girls at my school, and i often end up feeling "fat" for it. How do i gain confidence, and become the Mr.Mayor, type?
Oh and, not really on topic, but recommend any good songs?:*
Well you kinda answered your own question. You are quiet around these people because you feel too mature in other words just as you said they don’t understand you. You could hang out with people older that would be on that level and that would help. Or you could try to find out about stuff people in your grade talk about and find out about it and have something to talk about with them that way you wont feel so out of place and that will help build confidence
hope that helps
