Please Tell me how can a person build confidence in himself?
Being in front of people on stage for a speech or presentation is hard for many people, why?
Why people feel shy in front of others while doing something the others do well like speaking to a crowd, singing, or hosting etc…

There are two components to your question, both are genuine issues of development. To start I will address your concerns respecting confidence. There is a method in the "old school" prov-en over time by success. TO DEVELOP SELF CONFIDENCE ONE MUST ATTEMPT SOMETHING WHICH THEY DID NOT PREVIOUSLY THINK THEY COULD ACCOMPLISH. The activity may involve almost anything. Dancing, singing…sky diving or painting a picture are all examples of things to try. The choice is your s and depends upon your fears and your desires. However, it should be something you wanted to do but were afraid [or something you simply do not think you can accomplish]. It results in your now "knowing" that you can or can not accomplish this object task and the benefit is increased self confidence. Public speaking is a good exercise of the prescription, but, as you have alluded to this in your question it may be necessary to provide a wider descriptive. In public speaking there was a general rule in the Army, it was almost like a mnemonic. It went as follows: "as you look upon the audience imagine that they are all occupied on the ‘crapper..NOW, don’t take yourself seriously and speak clearly and loudly so they will attend to your words"
